 As you may know, Alaska Pure Sea Salt calls Sitka, Alaska our home. Recently, due to a series of federal terminations, the entire Sitka Ranger District trail and cabin crew was let go — all five field crew positions were lost. These hardworking individuals are the foundation of trail maintenance and ensure we can continue to enjoy and access our public lands. Our community is already feeling the effects of this loss as we rely on these trails for our subsistence way of life. 

In response, Sitka Trail Works has launched a fundraiser to reinstate 2-4 living wage trail crew jobs. By supporting this effort, we can keep our trails maintained and our public lands accessible to all. Visit this LINK to donate directly or you can shop online with Alaska Pure Sea Salt!

Sweet Sisters Caramels is a family owned & operated business in Sitka, Alaska. Our family has been in Sitka for nearly 30 years and for over a decade we have been making caramels for our family & friends. When we make a batch of caramels, we come together as a family & hand wrap each one. It is the time wrapping caramels that allows us to slow down & talk about our day. Although the name is sometimes a bit ironic, Greta & Lydia were the inspiration and they are the true 'Sweet Sisters'.
